This notice explains what data the SignalPlayer app and its related service process, and for what purpose. We aim to process as little data as possible.

1. Data we process

  • Device identifier (MAC address): a unique identifier generated by the app, to which the playlist and the licence/trial are linked.
  • Technical data: app version, device type and operating system version, and the time of the last check-in (for operation and support purposes).
  • IP address: for a short time only, solely for technical operation and to protect against abuse (e.g. bulk requests).
  • The playlist details you provide: the name and link of the playlist provided by the user, so the device can load it. This is provided by the user voluntarily.

We do not ask for or store your name, email or other direct personal data for the operation of the app, beyond what the user voluntarily provides (e.g. when writing to us by email).

2. Purpose and legal basis of processing

We process the data to provide the service (serving the playlist, managing the trial/subscription), for technical operation and for security. Legal basis: performance of the service and the operator's legitimate interest (a secure, functioning service).

3. Sharing and selling

We do not sell the data and do not use it for marketing profiling. We share data with third parties only to the extent strictly necessary for operation (e.g. the hosting provider) or where required by law.

4. Retention

We keep the data for as long as necessary to provide the service; long-expired, unused trial data is deleted regularly.

5. Your rights

You can delete your list link yourself at any time — including the credentials it contains: sign in on the setup page with your device MAC address and 6-digit key, then choose “Delete my list from the server”.

Beyond that, you can request access to your data, or its correction or complete deletion. To do so, write to the contact below — providing the device MAC address lets us identify the record.
